The Diamond and the smile

maybe that's the secret in life. To get through and smile whilst doing it. Life can be struggle sometimes and we may wonder - where is God in all of this? Why am i being given the cold shoulder? Why hasn't he been doing anything? But i have figured out that God really is there. In some situations if he just did everything for us and preformed miracles all the time- what would be the worth in that? We would not be able to grow into strong, independent, faith filled, beautiful people. Learning would not happen. one of the situations i am facing at the moment has got me to question alot and to realize that i cannot control everything. some things just happen which are out of my control- all things have their time to blossom beautifully. Nothing under the sun lasts forever. Each Season passes and provides new wing spreading and growing oppoutunties. And whatever fruit or harvest has come from the previous harvest will grow into something more beautiful than before.

So maybe God is allowing us to become better people in the struggles so that when we reach the other side we will shine even brighter than before. The kind of light that fills the room and turns heads. They say that to find a diamond you have to hack off all the stone encapsaling it. Keep hacking away until you find your diamond. All that struggle will be worth it. Inside you might just find something truly precious. And your smile will be radiant. Radiant like the sun.
